The RS1200 was Buell's half-faired sportbike, keeping the RR's chassis but exposing the Sportster engine and frame. Its Uniplanar frame used adjustable rods to limit vibration, and it had Marzocchi anti-dive forks. It was fast-handling but expensive because of hand assembly, and it led to the 1994 S2 Thunderbolt.
